Fall Concert
November 22nd at 7 pm and November 23rd at 2 pm are the dates of our Fall Concert
'For the Heroic, Bright and Beautiful'. Don't miss this exciting program which includes the finale of the Shostakovich 5th Symphony. Tickets and more information below
Chamber Music Concert
January 11th at 2 pm the Band will present a free concert of Chamber Music. Groups will include a flute choir, a clarinet choir, and a woodwind quintet plus more! Please join us for this concert in the beautiful setting of Saint Margaret's Church in Palm Desert.
No tickets are required for this concert, but a free will offering will be collected at the entrance.
Desert Winds Past Events
2025 Palm Springs Pride Parade
The Desert Winds secured the 4th position among 200 entries in this year's Palm Springs Pride Parade. It was a stunning, sunlit day, with an estimated 100,000 spectators filling the sidewalks along the parade route. The Desert Winds delivered a lively performance of 'Pink Pony Club' by Chappelle Roan.
At PS Pride, we frequently welcome musicians and colorguard members from other bands who wish to join us. This year, including our members and guests, we proudly had participants from 34 cities across California and 6 additional states.

Desert Winds Jazz Band Performs at the Palm Springs Air Museum
On November 1st the Desert Winds Jazz Band performed for a private function at the Palm Springs Air Museum. Joined by vocalists Estee Graham and , the Jazz Band performed with an incredible backdrop of old planes and party goers. Our Jazz Quartet Combo performed as well. What a great venue for a celebration!

'Pop, Rock, & Swing'
Pop, Rock & Swing had the audience dancing!
Our Pops Concert last May was one of the best ever and included music from Glenn Miller, Adele, Elton John & the Beatles. Besides the Symphonic Band, the Concert included performances by the Desert Winds New Pop Band, and the Desert Winds Clarinet Buffet.
Post concert the audience and band members joined together for an old-fashioned ice cream social in the lobby.
