Volunteer with Desert Winds

The Desert Winds is looking for volunteers to serve our audience at our concerts while we are all making music, either at Concerts or rehearsals.  Duties include

• Scanning tickets and/or checking in patrons at concerts
• Finding will-call tickets for patrons
• Handing our programs
• Checking people in, or sometimes asking patrons to sit a little closer in the pews at the Temple
• Serving beverages and baked goods at intermissions
• Strong bodies to help set up the risers before concerts, and to take them down afterwards.
• Taking attendance at Jazz Band and Symphonic Band rehearsals on Thursday evenings
• Helping with set up for Thursday evening Jazz Band and Concert Band rehearsals

The band usually has 2 performances of the Fall and Spring concerts, and one performance of our Jazz Band and May Concert.  If you are interested in helping with these duties, please fill out this form and if possible attach a brief resume with your experience as a non-profit volunteer.
