Make Music With Us!

Whether you're returning to your instrument after years away or looking for a new musical community, Palm Springs Desert Winds welcomes musicians with a wide range of backgrounds and experience levels. Our LGBTQIA+-rooted band brings people together through music, friendship, and a shared commitment to making great music.

Our Symphonic Band rehearses Thursday evenings from September through May, with additional opportunities to perform in our jazz, pop, marching, pep, and small ensembles. Members should be able to read music, attend rehearsals regularly, and provide their own instruments (except percussion).

Annual membership dues are $90, with the first 90 days free for new members.

Interested in joining? Complete the application below, and we'll be in touch about next steps. You're also welcome to explore our ensembles and learn more about Desert Winds before applying.
